ZOA: Israel Deploying 43,000 Troops To Expel Israelis In Gaza, Similar Numbers Used To Fight Lebanon War
News
July 11, 2005

The IDF will be deploying 43,000 Israeli troops to expel 10,000 Israelis in the Jewish section of Gaza from their homes, schools, synagogues, farms and businesses. (Jerusalem Post, 7/15/05)

It is interesting to note when Israel went to war against Yasir Arafat and the PLO in Lebanon (1982), they deployed 60,000 troops against 15,000 armed PLO terrorists and 30,000 Syria troops.

In America’s major and long-term war against Iraq, which has a population of 26,000,000 (twenty-six million), America has deployed approximately 150,000 troops.

It is painful to see Israel using 72% of the number of troops deployed in a major war against the PLO and Syria and 30% of the number of troops that America deployed in a major and long-term war against Iraq — not to fight a major war against a terrorist enemy, but to forcibly remove 10,000 of its own citizens from their homes and seaside residences.
