McCarthy Recently Removed Jew-Hating Israelophobe Omar from Foreign Affairs Committee

Zionist Organization of America (ZOA) President Morton A. Klein released the following statement:

ZOA profusely praised and thanked House Speaker Kevin McCarthy (R-CA) as a moral giant for blocking Israelophobic extremist Rep. Rashida Tlaib (D-MI)’s antisemitic “Nakba” event, which calls Arabs’ failure to destroy the Jewish State of Israel a “catastrophe” (Nakba). Jew-hating Tlaib had planned to hold her event today.

Now, dangerous extremist Rashida Tlaib should be removed from every House Committee as she is not only a racist bigot but does not believe in or represent American values. 

Tlaib’s event was organized by virulent antisemitic, anti-Israel boycott and defamation groups. According to the Free Beacon, Speaker McCarthy blocked Tlaib’s extremist antisemitic event by reserving the Capitol Visitor Center space where Tlaib was set to host her hate fest. Speaker McCarthy is replacing Tlaib’s antisemitic hate-fest with a bipartisan briefing, led by Speaker McCarthy, celebrating the 75th anniversary of the U.S.-Israel relationship. Speaker McCarthy stated: “It’s wrong for members of Congress to traffic in antisemitic tropes about Israel. As long as I’m Speaker, we are going to support Israel’s right to self-determination and self-defense, unequivocally and in a bipartisan fashion.” Kevin McCarthy was also only the second Speaker in history to recently deliver a major address to the entire Israeli Knesset in Israel’s undivided capital, Jerusalem.
