September 10, 2002

On the first anniversary of the Islamic terrorist attacks on the World Trade Center and the Pentagon, the Zionist Organization of America (ZOA) joins all Americans in commemorating this tragic anniversary.

The ZOA mourns the thousands of innocent victims who lost their lives in the horrific 9/11 attacks, sends its heartfelt condolences to the grieving families, and expresses its profound gratitude to the heroic men and women who gave their lives trying to rescue the victims.

The ZOA salutes the soldiers of both America and Israel, who are risking their lives daily in the fight against international terrorism, from Kabul to Gaza.

Islamic extremists are at war with America, Israel, and the entire Free World, and the principles for which we stand. There must be no letup in our nation’s determination to combat these forces of evil until they are completely and finally defeated.

Our Mission
ZOA STATEMENT
The ZOA speaks out for Israel – in reports, newsletters, and other publications. In speeches in synagogues, churches, and community events, in high schools and colleges from coast to coast. In e-mail action alerts. In op-eds and letters to the editor. In radio and television appearances by ZOA leaders. Always on the front lines of pro-Israel activism, ZOA has made its mark.
