Please Attend the Sentencing of the Mohammed Othman, Who Viciously Beat a Jewish Man for Wearing a Kippah

When: This Wednesday, December 20th at 2:15 PM
Where: 100 Centre St, New York, NY 10013, 11th Floor, Part 62

Dear Friends,

In recent years, Jewish New Yorkers have been subjected to skyrocketing harassment and life-threatening physical assaults.

Violent offenders attacking Jews on the streets of New York have been shielded from punishment for several years, due to city officials’ refusal to take antisemitic hate crimes seriously. Only recently, due to overwhelming support and activism from within the Jewish community, these attackers have begun facing consequences.

Jews will only be safe when we make it clear to those who wish to harm us that if they assault someone for being Jewish, they will be prosecuted according to the law.

Please show up this Wednesday for Joey Borgen as his attacker, Mohammed Othman, is sentenced.

We must make this effort for each case, to show support for the victims, and to show the attackers and all New Yorkers that antisemitic hate crimes will not go unpunished.
