This past Thursday (April 16), ZOA National President Morton A. Klein, together with ZOA Director of Research and Special Projects Liz Berney, Esq., ZOA Director of Government Relations and former US Navy officer Dan Pollak and ZOA Strategist Dr. Akiba Covitz, had an in-depth meeting with military officers-students and professors from the prestigious National War College in Washington, D.C. to share ZOA’s insights on the Arab-Islamic war against Israel. The meeting was held in the boardroom of ZOA’s national headquarters in Manhattan, NYC.
The National War College is currently developing a framework and report regarding U.S. relationships and strategy in the Middle East, and engaged with ZOA as part of the College’s effort to learn the facts and American Jewish perspectives.
Participants expressed appreciation for the exchange, at the meeting and afterwards. Following the meeting, the National War College group leader conveyed the following message to ZOA: “Sir, I want to express my deep appreciation for taking the time to provide valuable insights into the development of our strategy. Your experience and efforts will have a meaningful and positive impact on our understanding of Israel’s strategic importance to the United States. Toda Raba!”
