New Prime Minister, Same Old
Anti-Jewish Incitement

NEW YORK- The Palestinian Authority has once again publicly distorted the Holocaust and slandered Israel, by claiming that Israel’s behavior is worse than that of the Nazis.

According to the official PA web site, (http://www.palestine-pmc.com/details.asp?cat=1&id=1051), PA spokesman and cabinet minister Yasir Abed Rabbo said that Israel’s decision to remove arch-terrorist Yasir Arafat to be “an unprecedented, racist and immoral measure that Nazism did not dare to take.”

Morton A. Klein, National President of the Zionist Organization of America (ZOA) said: “Calling Israel worse than the Nazis is both a vicious slander against Israel and a vile distortion of the Holocaust. And it provides an advance justification for future terrorist attacks against Israelis. The Bush administration should strongly protest this clear violation of the Bush Road Map’s prohibition against anti-Jewish and anti-Israel incitement. Despite the appointment of a new prime minister, Ahmed Qurei, the PA continues to engage in the same old hatred and incitement.”

PA spokesmen and official PA publications have repeatedly called the Holocaust a hoax or belittled the Holocaust by comparing Israel to the Nazis. For a free copy of the ZOA’s report, Holocaust Denial and Distortion by Palestinian Arab Leaders, please call the ZOA at 212-481-1500.
