And At Least Four Americans
Wounded in Jerusalem Attack

NEW YORK – An African-American was one of the six people murdered in the Palestinian Arab terrorist attack in Hadera on January 18. The Zionist Organization of America (ZOA) is urging the Bush administration to publicly demand that Yasir Arafat hand over all Palestinian Arab terrorists who have harmed Americans for prosecution in the United States.

Aaron Ellis, a U.S. citizen who was the son of African-American tourists who have resided in Israel for some years, was killed in the attack, which was carried out by Yasir Arafat’s Fatah movement. He is the 23rd American citizen murdered by Palestinian Arab terrorists since the signing of the Oslo accords in 1993. In addition, 57 Americans have been wounded by Palestinian Arab terrorists since 1993.

At least four American citizens were wounded in the Palestinian Arab terrorist attack in Jerusalem on January 27, 2002. Mark Sokolow of New York —a survivor of the Sept. 11 World Trade Center attack— was wounded, as were his wife Rina, his 16 year-old daughter Lauren, and his 12 year-old daughter, Jamie.

ZOA National President Morton A. Klein said: “Members of both the American Jewish community and the African-American community have been murdered by Palestinian Arab terrorists. We call on African-American leaders to join us in urging the Bush administration to demand that Arafat surrender all those involved in harming Americans for prosecution in the United States, just as the U.S. demanded that the Taliban surrender Osama Bin Laden for prosecution in the United States.”
