U.S. Representative Liz Cheney

Liz Cheney (R-WY) is a member of Congress in the U.S. House of Representatives. She currently serves on the House Armed Services Committee and Natural Resources Committee.

In November 2018, Cheney was elected by her colleagues to House leadership as the Chair of the House Republican Conference, making her the third-ranking Republican in the House of Representatives and the highest-ranking republican woman in House history.

Prior to her election to Congress, she served at the State Department as a Deputy Assistant Secretary of State and Principal Deputy Assistant Secretary of State for the Middle East. She also practiced law at White & Case and at the International Finance Corporation. A specialist in national security and foreign policy, she was also a Fox News analyst, and the co-author of a book, along with her father Vice President Cheney, entitled “Exceptional: Why The World Needs a Powerful America.”

Congresswoman Cheney is a special and extraordinary friend of Israel and the Jewish people. She is also a relentless fighter against anti-Semitism.
