22 Americans Killed,
53 Wounded, Since ‘93

NEW YORK – An American teenage girl remains in critical condition after she was one of the 42 people wounded in a Palestinian Arab terrorist attack in Jerusalem on January 22. The Zionist Organization of America (ZOA) is urging the Bush administration to publicly demand that Yasir Arafat hand over all Palestinian Arab terrorists who have harmed Americans for prosecution in the United States.

Shayna Gould, a 16 year-old girl from Chicago who was studying at a Jerusalem religious seminary, was one of those wounded in the attack. She is the 53rd American citizen wounded by Palestinian Arab terrorists since the signing of the Oslo accords in 1993—in addition to the 22 Americans murdered by Palestinian Arab terrorists since 1993.

ZOA National President Morton A. Klein said: “We urge the Bush administration to demand that Arafat surrender all those involved in harming Americans for prosecution in the United States, just as the U.S. demanded that the Taliban surrender Osama Bin Laden for prosecution in the United States.”

* 10 Americans have been murdered, and 28 wounded, since the current Palestinian Arab violence against Israel began in September 2000.

* 22 Americans have been murdered, and 53 wounded, by Palestinian Arab terrorists since the signing of the Oslo accords in 1993.

* At least 90 Americans have been murdered, and 96 wounded, by Palestinian Arab terrorists since 1968.
