May Their Memory Be a Blessing
Zionist Organization of America (ZOA) National President Morton A. Klein released the following statement:
On this solemn anniversary of the worst massacre of Jewish people since the Holocaust, the ZOA remembers and mourns all the innocent Jews and others from around the world whom Hamas terrorists and accompanying Gazan “civilians” savagely murdered and tortured on October 7, 2023; and whom Hezbollah rockets and Arab terrorists in Israel murdered in the ensuing days. We likewise remember the brave IDF soldiers who fell when battling Hamas, and the Israeli hostages who have been suffering in Hamas’ brutal captivity for a year.
Hamas must surrender and release all remaining hostages now. Hezbollah must be dismantled and driven back to north of the Litani River. We must not reward the evil Palestinian Authority with a terror state, especially in light of the PA governing party’s supports for Hamas and recent entry into a unity agreement with Hamas. Sanctions must be enforced against the Iranian head of the snake – and all necessary actions must be taken to stop the Iranian Islamist regime’s evil genocidal war against Israel, the West and moderate Arab states.
We honor the incredible efforts and achievements of the Israeli Defense Forces over the past year, and pray that Israel, the IDF and all the Jewish people remain strong and resilient, to ensure that October 7, 2024 will never happen again.
In loving memory and honor of all the innocent Jewish and other victims of Hamas, Hezbollah, the PA and Iran, we are listing the victims’ names below. Additional information about the victims is posted on the Israeli Ministry of Foreign Affairs website, here for the civilians who were murdered, and here for the IDF members who lost their lives defending their brothers and sisters and the Jewish nation.
