Today, we celebrate Yom Yerushalayim — the reunification of Jerusalem, the eternal capital of the Jewish people and the State of Israel.
For thousands of years, Jews prayed for a return to Jerusalem. In 1967, that dream became reality when Jerusalem was reunited and Jews regained access to our holiest sites.
At a time of growing attacks against Israel and the Jewish people, we proudly reaffirm: A unified Jerusalem is the heart of the Jewish nation, yesterday, today, and forever.
