ZOA Statement on American Ops in Iran

Zionist Organization of America (ZOA) National President Morton A. Klein released the following statement:

The Islamic Republic of Iran has once again shown the world exactly who it is, and the President is taking note.

By violating the ceasefire and downing the U.S. Army Apache helicopter, after weeks of targeting American allies, threatening shipping in the Strait of Hormuz and directing terrorist aggression across the region during the supposed “Ceasefire,” Tehran has proven it cannot be trusted and has no interest in real peace. President Trump is right to respond with overwhelming force. The strikes over the last two nights send a necessary message: attacks on Americans will carry devastating consequences.

For decades, the terrorists in Tehran have used negotiations and ceasefires as tactical pauses while continuing their terrorism and nuclear ambitions. This latest betrayal should end any illusion that the regime intends to enter into and honor any agreements with the U.S. The Iranian regime understands only strength.

Now suddenly, Tehran is “willing to negotiate” after President Trump threatened further strikes and the taking of Kharg Island. It’s just another Iranian game, an attempt to filibuster and drag the President into another repetitive loop, delaying further action by another 7-8 weeks while the regime stalls and continues to strike American allies and interests in the region.

Ultimately, the only lasting solution is the end of Tehran’s terror regime. Anything less simply guarantees another cycle of violence, broken truces and renewed threats against America and her allies.
