ZOA Action Alert: Contact Ohio Medical Board to Permanently Revoke Medical License of Islamist Physician Lara Kollab – She Said She’ll Harm Jews By Giving Them Wrong Medicine
Action Alerts News

Zionist Organization of America (ZOA) President Morton Klein and ZOA Director of Special Projects Liz Berney, Esq. issued the following Action Alert:

Most frighteningly, Kollab revealed her violent, dangerous, evil intention to abuse her medical training (received from Jewish-affiliated Touro medical school) to give innocent, unsuspecting, vulnerable American Jewish medical patients the wrong medications.

Islamist physician Lara Kollab’s numerous tweets are full of the most vile antisemitism, support for Hamas terrorists, calls for violence against Jews, and despicable name-calling – such as calling Jews dogs and Nazis, and complaining that Jews live too long.  Most frighteningly, Kollab revealed her violent, dangerous, evil intention to abuse her medical training (received from Jewish-affiliated Touro medical school) to give innocent, unsuspecting, vulnerable American Jewish medical patients the wrong medications.  Canary Mission, an important, dedicated group that exposes Jew-haters’ social media posts, catalogued and posted screenshots of Dr. Kollab’s despicable tweets, which we urge you to read, including this one: “hahha ewww.. Ill [I’ll] purposely give all the Yahood [Jews] the wrong meds.”

In September 2018, the Cleveland Clinic essentially fired Dr. Kollab (placed her on leave) after becoming aware of her tweets bragging about her plan to harm and potentially murder Jewish patients.  Dr. Kollab obviously cannot be entrusted with patient care – and should never be permitted to practice medicine anywhere in Ohio or in the United States.

ZOA’s attorney Liz Berney, Esq. spoke yesterday with the Ohio State Medical Board, which explained that Dr. Kollab merely has a temporary license from Ohio, which limits her to practicing medicine at the Cleveland Clinic – where she is no longer employed as a resident physician.  Dr. Kollab’s temporary license thus is practically useless and does not authorize her to practice medicine anywhere else in Ohio.  The Ohio Medical Board’s statement regarding the situation reveals, however, that the Board can also permanently revoke licenses.  Permanent revocation means that the person can never practice in Ohio again.

ZOA thus urges all our friends to call, email and/or file complaints with the Ohio State Medical Board, demanding that Dr. Kollab’s medical license must be permanently revoked because she openly stated she would use her medical license to harm and potentially murder Jewish patients.

ZOA also believes that, as a general matter, much more must be done to assure that radical Islamists who intend to harm their unsuspecting patients are not placed in positions where they can carry out such plans.  Frighteningly, a recent Jihad Watch article listed numerous other instances in which radical Islamists deliberately harmed their patients.

During her discussion with the Ohio Medical Board, attorney Berney asked whether the Board routinely checks social media accounts prior to issuing medical licenses.  The Board representative stated that the problem is that many individuals post under false names.

ZOA therefore calls upon all medical schools, all hospitals, and all state medical licensing boards to (i) require all applicants for admission, hospital privileges and positions, and/or licensure, to provide all names that they have used for social media posts, and full access to their social media posts, and (ii) to examine such social media posts for extreme antisemitic and other radical statements and threats.

We thus also urge all our friends to contact their local medical schools, hospitals and licensing boards to urge that these steps be taken. (Please let us know the result.)

ZOA is also examining additional steps that can be taken.  We welcome all our friends’ ideas. (Email: [email protected].)

Jewish patients – and indeed all patients – seeking medical treatment must not be placed in the hands of those who seek to harm, rather than help them.
