ZOA Urges Vigilance Against White Supremacist, Neo-Nazi & ISIS-Inspired Terrorists’ Coronavirus Threats
News Press Release
March 27, 2020

Zionist Organization of America (ZOA) President Morton A. Klein and ZOA Chairman Mark Levenson, Esq. released the following statement:

According to ABC News, an FBI alert to local police agencies warned that neo-Nazis and other white supremacist and extremist groups are encouraging their members who contract the coronavirus to spread the coronavirus to police on the street using spray bottles filled with their coronavirus-infected bodily fluids, and to spread the coronavirus to Jews by going “any place [Jews] may be congregated, to include markets, political offices, businesses and places of worship.” Also according to ABC News, a Department of Homeland Security (DHS) memo this week warned that ISIS’s weekly newsletter called for ISIS’s supporters to attack health care systems in Western countries, and attack faith-based communities.

“If you see something, say something.”

ZOA urges everyone to take these threats seriously. While all of us are focused on remaining or getting well, and helping one another during the coronavirus pandemic, we must also continue to remain vigilant regarding the dangers from white supremacists, neo-Nazis and ISIS-inspired Islamic terrorists who would abuse this pandemic to attack and further endanger us.

“If you see something, say something.”

DHS also just warned that cyber-criminals are taking advantage of the pandemic to set up phony and actively malicious coronavirus computer domains. DHS reminded the public to not open suspicious links, emails or attachments, and to report suspected incidents to [email protected]

Wishing all our friends a safe and healthy Shabbat.
